Hightide is the biggest Surf outfitter in Guanacaste located in the business center of Tamarindo.

The story of Hightide started in October 1999. Andrea, the owner of Tamarindo Adventures, tour and rental company, was tired of traveling hundreds of miles to find basic stuff like finn-keys, rash guards, etc.

So he decided to open Hightide Surf Shop and moved together with Tamarindo Adventures to his present location. Tamarindo Adventures occupies the ground floor and Hightide Surf Shop the upstairs of the Surf and Adventure building in the center of Tamarindo.

Hightide Surf Shop has the most important brands in boards, clothes and accessories, like: Billabong, Quicksilver, Roxy, Rip Curl, Volcom, Reef, All Merrick, Lost, Arnette, FCS, etc.
